En Europa la llaman luna de miel o luna de aguamiel, derivado del nombre de una bebida dulce de miel fermentada.

Según la NASA, junio es el mejor momento para recolectar la miel de las abejas.

La luna estuvo en su esplendor en Estados Unidos entre la noche del domingo y la madrugada del lunes.

También fue visible en otras partes del continente.
